The first stage of every RO system. This 5 micron spun-bond sediment filter traps mud, sand, rust particles and turbidity before they reach your carbon filter and membrane.
Change it every 3 to 4 months, or earlier if your water supply is muddy. A clean sediment filter is the cheapest way to double the life of your RO membrane.
